My family is searching for the missing war service medals of Thomas Robert CONSTABLE who served during the First World War.

The Second World War medals awarded to Thomas Vincent DACEY, Service Number N200111 have been located at the Batemans Bay Post Office. The Bay Post (local newspaper) has requested assistance in locating the closest next of kin for Thomas who was born on 3 August, 1918 in Murrumburrah, NSW. Thomas Vincent DACEY enlisted into the Austalian Military Forces on 7 October, 1941. Locality on Enlistment ARDLETHAN, NSW. His next of Kin was Ann DACEY. His Date of Discharge 29 January, 1946. Enlisted twice during the War (New Zealand then British Army) 09/08/1914 -------------- Enlisted (Rank Pte) 15/08/1914 -------------- Embarked for Samoa on board SS Monowai 29/08/1914 -------------- Arrived Apia,Samoa * Took part in the first action of the war for NZ Troops, the capture of German Samoa * 03/04/1915 -------------- Embarked for NZ onboard SS Talune 15/04/1915 -------------- Arrived Wellington and he Discharged at his own request 02/05/1916 -------------- Attempts to re-enlist in NZEF but is classed unfit. He then travelled to Britain and joined up in 1916 in the Royal Naval Reserve Volunteer and gains Rank of Lieutenant and becomes in charge of Coastal Motor Boats, that patrol the English Channel for the remainder of the war. I wonder if anybody can help me. I am trying to recover my Gulf War Medal and Northern Ireland medal. One was for Gunner R.V. KORDULA and the other was I believe Private R.V. KORDULA. My regimental number was 24852326. Served with 32 Heavy Regiment Royal Artillery and the with 1 KORBR (King's Own Royal Border Regiment). Last time they were seen were in Catterick North Yorkshire.

Robert was born in 1899 at Alnwick Northumberland and died in 1970 aged 71. His service papers says trade-Ploughman.
