My family is hoping to recover the missing Second World War medals of Victor GLEDHILL who served with the Royal Air Force. The medals consist of the 1939-1945 Star, France & Germany Star, 1939-1945 War Medal. These medals have been sold twice via online auction without our knowledge. They first sold in 1993 and sold again during November 2015. My family fully understands that these medals have been legitimately purchased and are now being well looked after by an unknown collector. However we sincerely plead with the person who currently has Victor's medals in their possession, to please consider selling them back to our family. We have no idea how they left our family in the first place and would very much appreciate your kindness in helping us to recover this important part of our family history.

My family would be extremely grateful to have these medals returned.
