I am searching for the First World War medals (1914/15 Star, British War Medal & Victory Medal) & Memorial Plaque of my great-grandfather Joseph RYDER, Pte. 18664 16th Battalion Royal Welsh Fusiliers. His next of kin were his parents John William & Annie Margaret RYDER of Liverpool. I believe a relative sold the medals in the late 1970s in Llandudno. The Memorial Plaque may have remained with his parents in Liverpool. Any assistance in helping me recover these medals would be greatly appreciated.

My grandfather's First World War medal (British War Medal) sold on the open market in May of 2008. We were unaware that it was out there for sale. His name is William Joseph Charles PUNSHON and he was a Private of the 20th Infantry Battalion, AIF. He was killed in action on the 08th of August, 1918. My family would really appreciate it if the person who purchased the medal, would consider selling it back to us, as we have his other medal and would love to have the set complete.
