My grandfather's First World War medal (British War Medal) sold on the open market in May of 2008. We were unaware that it was out there for sale. His name is William Joseph Charles PUNSHON and he was a Private of the 20th Infantry Battalion, AIF. He was killed in action on the 08th of August, 1918. My family would really appreciate it if the person who purchased the medal, would consider selling it back to us, as we have his other medal and would love to have the set complete.
