Radio Interview Regarding Gallipoli & Medals Gone Missing – Anzac Day 2010

Andrew KUUSE , the Week-end Radio Host for Sport 927 radio Melbourne and 2KY radio Sydney interviewed the Medals Gone Missing Administrator, Gary Traynor as part of  Anzac Day 2010.  The interview encompassed the topics of Battlefield Tours, conducted by Gary of the Gallipoli Peninsula as well as the part played by Medals Gone Missing itself – in reuniting individual families with the lost medals of their ancestors.  It is a sad fact that thousands of war medals have become seperated from their respective recipient’s family and it is only through websites, such as Medals Gone Missing that the awards or items of kit can be returned to their rightful place.

Two individual medals were returned to their respective descendants just prior to Anzac Day, 2010.  If the war medals of your ancestor are missing – and you would like to have them returned to your family before next Anzac Day; the most effective way to have these medals located and returned to you is through a ‘listing’ on the Medals Gone Missing website.  To register (it is free to register) simply Click Here and then return to the Home Page to submit a listing (go to Militaria on the drop down bar and select ‘Missing Medals’)
