Missing Medals of James WHELAN – 1st Battalion Grenadier Guards – Can you help?

British-FlagThe missing First World War medals of Private James WHELAN, Service Number 14976 are being sought by his descendants.

The missing war medals consist of the British War Medal and Victory Medal as awarded to the majority of British Commonwealth troops for service during the First World War.
