I am wishing to make contact with the descendants of Private James KAY, who sadly was killed in 1918. He served with the 11th Battalion of the South Lancashire Regiment. His next of kin was Peter and Elizabeth Kay of 10 Baker Street, Parr. St Helens. I believe that due to his early enlistment, he was entitled to a 1914/15 Star but any information regarding any of his war medals would be appreciated. (P90)

He was certainly entitled to a British War Medal, but I believe that he may even have received a Mons Star due to his early enlistment. (P90)

If you have this Death Plaque, I would love to hear from you please. His next of kin was Alfred and Emma Hookham and they may have come from Hornsby in N.S.W. (P70)
