Country: Australia
First World War book, written by Henry Weston PRYCE. The book states that he is a 'Gunner' by rank, however the First World War Embarkation Roll has him leaving Australia as a reinforcement for the 9 Machine Gun Company. He boarded HMAT Port Lincoln on the 20th of October, 1916 from port Melbourne. It is likely that he later transferred to the Artillery. This poetry book was written after the war and is a must, if this serviceman is a relative of yours. Written in the 1920's and out of print.

I have some civil medals that were found in Cammeray in Sydney about ten years ago. They were awarded to a girl by the name of Jessie ROWOHL who was the sister of a Neil Roy Bailey (service number 1882 of the 17th Infantry Battalion during WW1) The medallions are: St John Ambulance Association badge. A RLSS Cadet medal and a RLSS medal to W.R. - I would like to have these medals returned to the family. They are NOT for general sale and proof of family relation is a must.
