Second World War medals awarded to G. TOY. Apparantly, he may be the son of Private R. TOY who served in the Royal Army Medical Corps during World War One. This set (and the set belonging to his father) were put up for sale on the open market, on the 06th of March 2008 but failed to sell. The seller is unknown. Apparantly, this medal set was offered on the open market for sale on the 06th of March, 2008 but failed to sell. It is unknown who the seller is. The First World War Embarkation Roll has him leaving Melbourne on the 18th of November, 1915. Sadly he died of pneumonia on the 19th of February, 1919. These medals and Death Plaque were offered for sale on the 29th of January, 2008 but did not sell. If they are still for sale, could the current owner please contact the administrator. (P34)

First World War Death Plaque (Dead Man's Penny) issued in memory of John BELL. According to the Commonwealth War Graves Commission register, I am sorry to say that there are a large number of men of this name (John BELL) NOT including those mentioned with a 'middle' name. There are at least four Australians by this name and sadly, numerous men from the U.K. This plaque was purchased from ebay for approx $143.97 (AUD) and is available to any family who lost a relative by this name.
