1864 to 1866 New Zealand War Medal awarded to John TURNER. He arrived in New Zealand on the 29th of January, 1864 (from England) and participated at Gate Pa and Te Ranga. He returned to England on the 14th of November, 1866 and discharged from the Royal Artillery in the early 1870's. He was awarded the medal on the 24th of February, 1870.
