I am trying to find my grandfathers WWI medals. His name was Arthur Thomas COOPER and he was awarded the British War Medal and the Victory Medal. My grandfather received his medals from the Department of the Army in 1942. The medals were at my father’s house many years ago, but have gone missing. I have some of my grandfather’s WWI uniform badges and would love to find his medals.

The descendants of Samuel Robert DICK are searching for his missing war service medals. Samuel was awarded the China Medal with clasp for Taku Fort and the Defence of Legations – serving with the Royal Marine Light Infantry during the Boxer Rebellion in China 1901. Samuel Robert DICK also served in the Boer War and was awarded the Queens South Africa medal with clasps for Cape Colony and Orange Free State whilst serving with the Imperial Yeomanry. Incredibly he also served in the First World War, being awarded the 1914 Star, British War Medal and Victory Medal whilst serving with the Royal Marine Light Infantry. It is believed he also served in some capacity during World War Two. If you have these medals in your collection or know of their whereabouts and wish to kindly assist his descendants, it would be very much appreciated.
